Here are some more of my haute couture in miniature!
I hope you enjoy looking at some samples of my creative outlet in motion! Thanks for taking a look!
This is Lady Kitty. She is one of the first gowns in miniature that I created.
This a Gibson Girl Era Day Dress. It is modeled by a Franklin Mint doll.
Gene is modeling a four piece tweed like outfit. When I sell an outfit, it is the whole ensemble. This one includes gloves, jewelry and shoes!
This one is fun! See how many different ways it can be worn. Here is an overskirted gown!
Now Gene has a lovely cape!
And finally, she can wear the gown alone and look sleek and stunning!
Ooh La La! Here is Gene in her underthings waiting for me to finish an English Riding Habit for her!
Lady Jane would not have liked this gown but one of Henry's many wives would have loved it.
Here is a close up of the jewelry, partlet, ruff, snood and hat...and of course, a hand beaded bodice!
Here are more photos of the Italian Renaisance doll and gown I am selling on Ebay soon.
A back view of this very beaded gown!
And of course the details. Here you can see some of the beading on the tied on sleeves!
This is my favorite creation. Her title is "Erte in Black"
This is "Erte in Gold". Doesn't she go well with her Erte-esk sister?
This creation is fashioned after the gowns of the 1910's.
I love beads...so I use lots of them. This gown is called "SleekBlackBeads".
Here is HarlequinSleek. This dress has lots of beads as well!
"Starlight on Black has a little jacket that draws to a point in the back. I love turbans!
Genie is wearing a gown from the 50's that shows off lovely bare shoulders.
The bow and train detaches...for dancing of course!
I love fabric with textures! It is so much fun to sew on.
This was such lovely green fabric. It had to be an evening gown!
Kitty models a black on white sheer cocktail dress. Cocktail dresses were very popular in the 1950's.
Here Kitty is modeling a bare shoulders evening gown with flowers.
Day time dresses are a lot of fun to design because you really can get into the details!
Another daywear outfit with a box pleated skirt. Quite a challenge in miniature!
I love colors as much as I do black&white! Whoa...this day dress is, um, very colorful!
Such elegant clothing was worn in the late middle ages! This sideless surcote is reversible.
This is a bit more complicated surcote outfit. The strips of fabric were fun to use as trim!
I have had this doll since I was a child. She keeps getting new costumes to wear. Here is a black velour empire waisted gown with a matching coal bucked shaped hat.
